Completion Ceremony of Water Supply Improvement Project in Kurdistan Region
Voltec celebrated successfully completing package 4 of Water Supply Improvement Project at the Governorate Hall in Sulaymaniyah on 28th of July, 2022.
Among the invited guests were: minister of municipality, governor of Sulaymaniyah, governor of Halabja, director general of water and sewage, JICA institute representative in Iraq and many other officials and consultants of the water directorate.
Project Description:
Upgrade of Sulaymaniyah & Halabja Water Supply System, works include Supply and installation of Ductile pipes & HDPE Pipes, valves, flowmeters, Solar Energy, Flow & Control System.
Project Scope:
LOT 1: To supply and install 17,000 mtr of DN600 Ductile Iron pipe with 20 flow and pressure control chambers, 2 bridge crossing and 1 high way trenchless underpass.
LO2A: Complete water network distribution for city of Halabjah, includes HDPE pipe, valve distribution chambers and pressure control chambers.
LOT2B: New flow control system to distribute water to Halabjah, Sirwan and Said Sadik with SCADA control and solar power supply.
LOT 2C: New sludge drainage system, 500 m3 underground concrete tank, 2.5 km of HDPE Drainage pipe and river outfall installation.
